LuxSense works with cosmetic and skincare products from any brand or region. Our ingredient database covers over 36,000 cosmetic ingredients from the EU CosIng database, making it one of the most comprehensive available.
? How are safety scores calculated?
Safety scores are based on EU regulatory data, scientific research from PubChem, and ingredient function analysis. Each ingredient gets a 0-100 score based on its regulatory status, irritant risk, comedogenic potential, and environmental impact. See our Methodology page for full details.
? Is LuxSense free to use?
LuxSense offers a free tier with core scanning and analysis features. Premium features for advanced insights and personalized recommendations are available via subscription.
? Does LuxSense store my photos?
No. Product photos are processed in real-time and immediately discarded. They are never stored on our servers, and Anthropic's API does not use them for model training. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
